In working with Tickets in Vtiger, you know that each ticket can go through several working stages before being closed. Several users can edit tickets and keep track of progress. It is easy for errors to prop up in such a scenario.
In our screenshots, we demo a simple staged warning when a user tries to change the status of a ticket to “Shipped” without entering the UPS Shipping Number. Using Boru’s Ticket Warnings app, a pop-up with an error message prompts the user to fix the error and prevents them from saving it unless a shipping number has been entered.
Boru’s Ticket Warnings product offers the following features:
- Set logical conditions for warnings based on different categories within tickets (Ticket Time, Call Tag Information) etc.
- Set one or more conditions for the same type of warning
- Choose an error message for pop-up
- Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to decide whether a user can save edits to a ticket in spite of the warning
