Vtiger 7 (as viewed currently in Vtiger On Demand), has a neat new feature called ‘Daily Digest – Smart Notifications’. The name does a good job of explaining this feature. It is a summary email that is delivered to you by the vtiger system at a specific time of day. It includes the following items:
- Direct Mentions of your name anywhere in the system in the last 24 hours
- Updates on records assigned to you
- Updates on records designated by you
- Idle record alerts
You will have to be careful to be focused what you choose to include in your digest, but executed well, it is a good tool to keep the pulse of the items you need to impact.
